Yeo Vale Forest School offers the Level 1 Award in  Introduction to Forest School Principles.  This course is accredited by Ascentis and costs £200pp.

​

The L1 course is designed to meet the needs of students, young people, teachers and anyone else who has an interest in working outdoors.  Our 3 day course enables you to complete all of the training and the workbook in one go. 

 

The course includes:

- Introduction to the Forest School approach to learning

- Participation in a Forest School experience

- Identification methods for woodland species

- Understanding the impact of Forest School on the woodland environment

- Understanding hazards at Forest School
